Maple Class are learning about Wonderful Walworth, and during their art lessons they looked at the artist Agnès Bompy, an artist from the Netherlands and the beautiful painting, Flowers, Fruits and the city of Le.

The children spent some time outside drawing plants and leaves, focusing on the outline and shape. They looked at the detail and patterns on the leaves and sketched these in their art books. Finally, they used powder paints to try and replicate some of the beautiful autumnal colours we had seen and those in the painting by Agnes Bompy.
