Redwood class are learning about Surprising Southwark and during their art lessons, they designed a flag to represent them, their background, and aspirations for the future.
They chose a symbol to represent themselves and thought about the colours they would use. The children learnt two sewing stitches and practiced threading a needle and knotting it ready to create the flag in the next lesson.
