The School day

The school day for Reception to Year 6 pupils starts at 8:45am and ends at 3:15pm.

Nursery is open from 8.30am until 3.30pm.

Morning break time for Years 1 – 6 is 10.15am – 10.30 am.

Lunch times are staggered but each child has a break for 1 hour.

Children are in school for 6 and half hours a day (Monday to Friday), during term time.

This totals 32 and a half hours in a typical week.

This equates to 380 sessions or 190 days a year.
