After exploring Ancient Sumerian pottery, Chestnut class created pinch pots made from clay.
The children rolled their clay into a ball and using their thumbs moulded it into a shape of their choice. They mixed the appropriate colours and used a pattern from the Ancient Sumerian era or a similar design of their own.
