Today is World Book Day and St Paul’s Primary School along with many children across the country are enjoying a plethora of fun activities related to books and reading.
One of the many activities taking place today is Story Writing! The children have all been tasked with writing a story using a selection of props as the key subjects in their story. These props include a picture of a shore front, a suitcase, an egg timer, and a rain mac with a giraffe pattern.
The stories will be judged by each class teacher and the best stories from each class will be shortlisted and presented to Ms. Batchelor who will make the final decisions on the winning stories. The winners will receive prizes and the opportunity to read their story for some special video recordings that will be made later this month.
Below are some pictures of our children hard at work with their writing.
