Willow class have been learning about the Mayans this term, and after completing their amazing Mayan funeral masks, they challenged themselves to create Mayan temples from recycled materials.

The children explored different Mayan temples and thought about what different materials, tools, and techniques they could use to recreate their own.

After designing their own temple, the children were able to create them, working individually or in small groups. They included doorways, multi levelled platforms, pyramid structures and monumental stairways.

They look amazing!
