Ash class learnt all about one of the most significant Scottish inventions of all time, and its inventor, Alexander Graham Bell. During their DT lesson, the children discussed the uses of the telephone and how it has changed over time.
They then created string telephones and used their evaluating skills to test whether the length of the string affected the sound, made it clearer or improved the appearance. The children then recorded their findings.
