Over the past few months, St Paul’s Primary has been fortunate to have Gregg from “The Voices Foundation” visiting us to work with children from every year group on a number of Voice Foundation singing workshops.
About The Voices Foundation:
Music is central to the human experience; by participating in musical activity, children can take part in a multi-sensory experience that engages a wide variety of brain functions. We believe that music activity can benefit children’s learning, skills, and wellbeing in important and unique ways.
We strive to improve children’s musicianship and singing voices through a straightforward method and a diverse range of accessible choral repertoire. We do this by providing customised singing programmes for nurseries, primary & secondary schools, academies, and Music Education Hubs. In addition, we create a unique experience to improve musical learning whilst simultaneously supporting the development of teachers in musical education.
Today Gregg very kindly organised a finale concert to showcase all of the wonderful work that he has been doing with the children over this period. We filmed our special concert this morning, which can be seen here. We hope that you enjoyed it as much as we did. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Gregg for his hard work and for making singing and the joy of music such a fun experience for pupils and staff at St Paul’s Primary School.
