Sycamore class are learning about textiles in their art sessions. We explore fabrics and find out how they feel (texture).

We investigate the patterns, colours and shapes we can see. We are creating a peg doll using fabrics and wool for the hair, which links to our DT unit in year 1 and the learning this term about toys in EYFS. The children design their own outfit and hairstyle, before adding facial features and arms using pipe cleaners.
