Willow class have been learning about the Indus Valley civilization this term and the artefacts and art of this period. They recently investigated Indus Valley seals and the many shapes and designs used, before designing their own replica seal in their sketchbooks and explaining the imagery and symbols used.
Today, the children created a replica seal using air dried clay. They kneaded, moulded and shaped their clay into a slab, before adding edges and an amazing design of their choice in the style of the Indus people.
