Chestnut class are going to be creating their own WW2 drawing over the next few weeks.

We began by viewing some WW2 images and discussing the shading techniques used, before experimenting with cross hatching, stippling, contour hatching, and blending in our sketchbooks. Today, we used those skills to sketch images of our choice, including blending, shading, using lines for emphasis, and using charcoal and pencils to create the effects.
