Ash class have been learning about famous nurses and during their art lessons they will be designing and creating a nurse’s pouch. The children planned their design in their art sketchbooks and spent a lesson practicing needle threading, tying a knot and two basic stitches, overstitch and running stitch. Plenty of persistence, determination and hard work followed, but the smiles say it all.
