Ash class have been learning about famous nurses and following their trip to the Florence Nightingale Museum, they completed their nurses’ pouches during their art lessons.

The children planned their design in their art sketchbooks and spent a lesson practising needle threading, tying a knot and two basic stitches.  Using felt material and thread colour of their choice they proceeded to create their pouch. Plenty of persistence, determination and hard work followed, but the smiles say it all.
