During their art lessons the children created their own seascapes using different materials. They looked at the work of famous artists such as Turner, Hokusai, and Monet, identifying the different shades and tones, shapes and patterns that were used.

The children created either a calm or a rough sea using materials of their choice and we discussed which was the most effective and what colour made the sea look the calmest.
