Today Year Six were visited by the Police and we took part in their Junior Road Watch scheme.

We went to Walworth Road and Kennington Road where we used speed guns to track the speed of drivers- they definitely slowed down when they saw us, but we did catch a couple of people speeding! We also had the chance to wear Police equipment including protective vests and we created different scenarios in the van that we would need to respond to.

Finally, we had the opportunity to ask questions regarding all things regarding the law. The children all enjoyed different aspects of the experience as did the adults.
