In Sycamore class, we are continuing our study of the artist Hokusai as part of our transport unit. We learnt that he was from Japan and looked at his famous painting ‘The Great Wave.’

After discussing what we could see, we used oil pastels to create the shapes and colours. Today, we made paper sculptures of the painting using our knowledge of shapes. We had fun creating some wonderful shapes and patterns.
