Redwood class are learning about Vikings this term and in their art sessions have been exploring Viking patterns and knots.

We looked at the use of knots in Viking art, recognising the similarities between Viking and Celtic art, before using step-by-step processes to draw our own simple knots and woven patterns. We recorded our findings in our sketchbooks.
