On Monday, a group of the school council were given the opportunity to take a behind the scenes look at the new Lidl on the Walworth Road prior to opening. We looked at the different parts of the shop including the bakery and freezer. We were given bads of produce to take home as well as name badges, sunglasses and a fan!

On Thursday we returned to cut the ribbon open the store. We had to arrive before 7am, then we toured the finished store before cutting the ribbon. We were again very lucky as they gave us baskets of treats to share.
