Ash class have been learning about famous nurses this term and in their DT lessons they will design, make, and evaluate a nurse’s pouch. We looked at the materials and tools we would need and considered the joining methods we could use, before designing our pouches in our sketchbooks.

First, we learnt how to thread and knot a needle before learning how to sew the running and overstitch. We then attached our emblem onto the front and evaluated our sewing skills and final product.
