On the 1st May, Dhyandev and James, alongside their parents and I, attended an awards ceremony at City Hall after being recognised for their contributions to the Fourth Plinth Schools Awards competition.
The Fourth Plinth project, based around the famous contemporary art programme in Trafalgar Square, encourages young people to explore creativity and share their artistic ideas inspired by public art. It was a very proud moment for everyone involved as the children’s artwork was displayed on huge presentation boards throughout City Hall before they went on stage to collect their prizes. They represented themselves, their families and the school exceptionally well and we are incredibly proud of their achievements.
It was also a special occasion as I was fortunate enough to receive an award too, making it an amazing day for all involved. A huge well done again to Dhyandev and James and thank you to their parents and the teachers who helped provide such a wonderful creative opportunity. Their success has brought recognition not only to the children individually, but also to our whole school community.
At St Paul’s, we are delighted to continue sharing this fantastic news and celebrating the creativity and achievements of our pupils.
