Year 6 were investigating interior angles in polygons- we measured each angle and added them up. Once we had done several polygons with different amounts of sides we compared them and came up with a rule to support our learning. Year 4/5 rounded decimals to crack the hidden code.
Year 1 investigated halving shapes. The first set of shapes we halved were standard 2D shapes e.g. circles, squares, triangles etc but the second set of shapes were irregular, we found this set much harder to halve! We then drew our own 2D shapes for our table partners to halve.
