Year 6 visit Rock UK!

On Tuesday 6th February 2018, our year six pupils had an amazing opportunity to visit Rock UK. Rock UK is a Christian charity providing outdoor adventure for all. Its four nationwide centres offer tailor-made programmes of challenging activities to encourage resilience, confidence and independence.

Our children visted the Carroty Wood Centre in Tonbridge, Kent where the children learnt about the strengths of being part of a team and working together. This was an excellent one day team building opportunity for the children prior to their forthcoming residential.

They took part in a number of exciting and challenging activities including:

  • Abseiling
  • Archery
  • Bridge building
  • Bush craft
  • Climbing and
  • Kayaking

We took some pictures on the day, which can be seen in the gallery below. Please click on the thumbnails for a larger view.
