St Paul’s Primary School is very proud to announce that the Right Rev’d  Dr Woyin Karowei Dorgu, the 13th Bishop of Woolwich will be visiting our school on Wednesday 28th November 2018.

Bishop Karowei  was born in Delta State, Nigeria and worked as a medical doctor before his ordination. He was ordained Deacon in 1995 and Priest in 1996 and began his ministry in the Diocese of London. In March 2017 he was consecrated Bishop of Woolwich, one of the three Episcopal Areas in the Diocese of Southwark.

His interests include personal fitness, reading and cooking for others. He enjoys travel and discovering new places and cultures. He plays tennis, cycles and visits the gym. He is a keen supporter of Arsenal Football Club.

We are all so excited about the Bishop’s visit and look forward to greeting him in our very special St Paul’s Primary School way. We will be taking pictures of the visit, which will be added to the website next week so please check back for those.
