NSPCC: Speak Out, Stay Safe Programme
On Friday 24th May, staff and volunteers from NSPCC will be visiting St Paul’s to lead two informative assemblies for KS1 and KS2, and interactive workshops for Years 5 and 6. The programme, known as Speak out Stay safe, is available to all primary schools in the UK.
It aims to equip a generation of children with the knowledge and understanding they need to stay safe from abuse and neglect. Children are taught to speak out if they are worried, either to a trusted adult or Childline. Pupils are taught in a lively, memorable and child-friendly way with the help of a Speak out Stay safe mascot, Buddy the speech bubble.
