St. Paul’s is keen to welcome parents into the school. Any parent wishing to offer their talents or their time should initially make contact with class teachers or the school office.
Parents are kept informed of school activities and events through the weekly newsletter. This is handed to each child every Friday.
The school building is maintained by Southwark Diocesan Board of Education which is financed by parental commitment to the school’s Maintenance Fund. All parents/carers are asked to contribute to this fund on an annual basis.
Parental contributions to visits
Children at St. Paul’s are taught to appreciate the cultural wealth of London and the surrounding area. They are often taken out on visits to enhance their learning, usually by public transport. While every effort is made to obtain free tickets or reduced prices there are times when we have to ask parents/carers to make a voluntary contribution to cover the cost of outings. Such outings will only go ahead if enough parents/carers are willing to contribute as school is rarely in a financial position to cover such costs.
