NSPCC – Speak Out, Stay Safe Programme

The NSPCC visited St Paul’s to lead two informative assemblies for KS1 and KS2, and interactive workshops for Years 5 and 6. The programme, known as Speak out Stay safe, is available to all Primary schools in the UK. The aim is to equip a generation of children with the knowledge and understanding they need to stay safe from abuse and neglect.

Children are taught to speak out if they are worried, either to a trusted adult or Childline. Pupils were taught in a lively, memorable and child-friendly way with the help of a Speak out Stay safe mascot, Buddy the speech bubble. Please talk to your child about what they learnt today.
