On Tuesday 9th July 8 children from chestnut class accompanied Mr Nouri and Miss Chan to East Street Market to sell produce grown in our school garden. The children got to their stall and started to work on setting up the stall and pricing the produce. Before they knew it the punters were lined up to get their hands on St. Paul’s quality fruit and veg.
The children were selling lettuce, radishes, apples, sugar snap peas, tomatoes, beetroot and some small plants. The public were amazed by the confidence of the children and commented how polite they were when selling on the stall. To top it off the children were able to make £48 from the stall.
